What We Do

  • Pay for all shelter cats and dogs to be spayed/neutered and vaccinated.
  • Provide spay/neuter coupons to community members of Carbon County
  • Run a trap/neuter/release (TNR) program for feral cats or barn cats that have an owner. This program requires the cat to receive an ear tip.
  • Hold Adopt-a-Thons for the Rawlins Rochelle Animal Shelter and Pet Partners of Carbon County at Tractor Supply Co.
  • Participate in a quarterly street clean up program and submit a quarterly report to the City of Rawlins as a part of the contract with the City of Rawlins in order to receive monetary funds.
  • Transport animals to rescues and new homes when a volunteer is available.
  • Participate in many community functions in order to raise funds, educate the public and provide an opportunity for people to obtain volunteer hours.
  • Support a foster home program for the Rawlins Rochelle Animal Shelter and Pet Partners of Carbon County’s adoptable animals.
  • Assist the Rawlins Rochelle Animal Shelter in finding placement or training for difficult to adopt animals.

                         What We Do Not Do

  • Pay medical costs for animals belonging to a resident of Carbon County.
  • Pay to cremate a deceased pet.
  • Pay full price to spay/neuter any animals belonging to a resident of Carbon County. We only provide a coupon to discount a pre-approved spay/neuter.
  • Pay for vaccinations for any animals belonging to a resident of Carbon County.
  • Investigate animal cruelty complaints. If you would like to report an issue regarding an animal, please contact the City of Rawlins Police Department at 307-328-4530.
